Soon and very soon

I’m shutting down my computer to pack it up…big steps…bye bye Cameroon.

Tomorrow!?!

Whoa…coming up fast…

I fly out tomorrow heading home. If all go goes well, I leave Yaoundé at 7:30PM, and pass through Brussels (Belgium) and Toronto (Canada) before landing in Raleigh at 6:30PM on the 11th. I have 2 mystery stops on my journey, and one is probably Douala (Cameroon)…I wonder what the other is. Belgium and Canada will be two new countries for me (even though they say airports don’t really count). Please pray for traveling mercies, smooth connections, and my bags as I’ve never flown with this airline before. While you’re at it, please pray for someone interesting to talk to on the flights as that makes it much more fun. It’s gonna be a long day, and while I should be well under my baggage weight limit, I still don’t know how I’m going to arrange the heavy things to make the airline happy. It’s so weird and a little scary to be heading that way after so long away. Back to the land of sandwiches, church services in English, Wal-Mart, my family, friends, and church family.

If you’re on this side of the Atlantic, I’ll miss you. If you’re on that side of the Atlantic…I’ll see you soon. Um…if you’re on the other side of the Mediterranean, maybe I’ll see you if I get stuck in Europe.
